2007 CNNP/Kunming Peacock Raw Puerh Cake
The 2007 Peacock Raw Puerh cake is a super solid mid-aged factory puerh. It's a fairly strong tea, resinous with a slightly nutty profile. Prominent notes of sweet wood and camphor are complemented by a nice, full mouthcoating and a finish that rises to the nasal cavity. It's a warming and comfortable tea experience and an excellent value tea.
This cake is loosely compressed and ready to drink now, but it will continue to age well if you choose to set some aside for your future self. Each cake weighs approximately 357 grams and has been naturally stored in Taiwan until 2021. There are some humid storage notes on this cake so if you prefer dry stored puerh, this may not be a good choice for you.
