Latumoni Assam Handmade Signature Black Tea from India
We are big fans of the Indian Assam black teas from Latumoni. It's rare to find entirely handmade Assam teas from gardens grown without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, so we always jump at the chance to offer their teas to our customers. This spring 2025 batch is smooth with notes of malt and molasses and a lovely slight minerality to it.
Latumoni is a very small family run tea garden in Tingkhong, Upper Assam (northeast India) specializing in high quality, whole leaf black teas. This offering is a first flush Assam which tend to be a bit lighter than second flushes so they really don't require milk but can take it if you feel like it.
